Doom For Windows
Doom is a 1993 first-person shooter (FPS) video game developed by id Software. It is typeset as DOOM in official papers and stylized as DooM in other media. Through a sequence of levels set in Hell and military bases on the moons of Mars, the player takes control of an unknown space marine, subsequently known as the Doomguy. The player must make their way through the area to a designated exit chamber to complete a level.
The last level focuses on a boss battle with a particularly challenging foe, and the levels are arranged into named episodes. The opponents and items are 2D sprites that are seen from multiple fixed viewing angles, a technique frequently called 2.5D graphics, even though the levels are displayed in 3D. Levels are frequently complex.
